With a high powered and balanced offense the Rippers defeated Steelhead 14-12 in 2OT Saturday night and followed it up with a 22-4 victory over Squamish. Running DEEP in the midfield 'foot pushed tempo in both games from start to finish, and Kyle Mechum stood on his head in the goal to get the clubs season off to a great start.
The Rippers are at home next weekend at Sherwood High School with games Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at Noon.
About Us
For many years our club was known as Multnomah, and later had been sponsored by Bigfoot Lacrosse. Currently playing as Portland Lax, we are sponsored by Lacrosse Northwest. We play against teams from Seattle and Eugene in the PNLA B Division. Many teams in this division (including ours) feature past DI, DIII and MCLA players.
